Located in two state-of-the-art facilities in Madison, Wisconsin USA, the Strandex Global Technical Center will serve you on a daily basis. Use of these operations and the engineering resources that reside there is central to our commitment to strong technical support for you. Our Technical Center is the headquarters of our development activities and serves as a key training and testing resource for you.
Our complete pilot facility includes blending and raw material preparation installations with all extrusion options, including coextrusion. Capabilities include embossing and molding, as well as complete raw material and finished product testing labs. Each day, three production-size extrusion lines are used continuously for process technology advancement, formulation testing, extrusion die testing and developments, and product enhancements. - Technology that is developed in Madison is directly transferable to our licensees because the processes developed in Madison are duplicated at your plant.
Our technical service group has a strong record of helping our licensees get their extrusion plants up and running within six months from the start of the project. The same can happen for you! We do this by working closely with equipment and raw material suppliers, using the Strandex resources in Madison for product prototyping and training, and by working closely with you, based on your priorities and your timeline. Additionally, all custom tooling designed and manufactured by Strandex is tested on the extrusion lines at our Technical Center prior to shipment to your plant. This way you know your new tooling will hit the ground running!
